Most Common Remote Desktop Printing Problems

triCerat recently posted a great YouTube video about network printing problems that outlines the most common printing issues that their tech support team (I’m assuming?) hears.  They include:

  • Printers don’t show up
  • Print job won’t render
  • Won’t print with full functionality
  • Slow log-on times

Specific issues that the systems administrators must deal with include:

  • incompatible drivers
  • spooler crashes
  • blue screens
  • overall functionality of printers

Not surprising, triCerat offers a remote desktop printing solution to handle enterprise print management issues.  I suppose that’s why they made the video!

Network Printing Problems

In a corporate network environment, printing problems can cause a lot of pain and aggravation.  Users just want their documents to print as they appear on the screen, quickly and reliably.  System Admins want ease of managing potentially thousands of printers, and keeping up with all the drivers, upgrades and user preferences.  It can be an overwhelming task!
